HUC, FIFO and Batching
Now that HUC is in place and Batch Approvals can be processed by order date, there is one more feature that is needed FIFO fulfillment. Currently Batching only looks at the invoice date and not the order date. In order for CMS to provide better FIFO, we need Batching to allow us to sort the list by original order date just like the Batch Approvals.

Allow the user to set a required form as not printed
It would be helpful if the user could set a required form as not printed. Setting a required form as printed so that it does not print again makes sense and is needed. But if the form gets printed/viewed by mistake, it would be very helpful to be able to set the form as not printed. To help minimize the risk of doing so, there could be a user rights setting which would allow only a certain few to set forms as not printed.

Have Landed cost calculator on shipment screen instead of only on a new receipt.
Its almost impossible to have the invoice of what you are receiving when you get it so the landed cost button is of little use on a new receipt. Move it to allow adjusting existing shipments that update the lost costs.
0 votesAgreed, this Landed Cost wizard seems best suited to updating the PO as a whole, not just a single receipt. This would be particularly important for the stated use-case where the costs are set some time after the receiving (like a separately mailed invoice with the costs.)

Allow the Verify Imported Orders window to remember its size
Each time we returns to the Verify Imported Orders window after saving an order, we must resize the window in order to see all the columns. This is time consuming.

Allow miscellaneous charges on purchase orders
When ordering many of our products, we incur miscellaneous charges such as tooling and dies that the vendors would like to see on the PO. We enter these charges in the Notes To Vendor field but this is not included in the overall total of the PO. The only way to list them on the PO is to create a non-inventory item. But then the item is available to CSR's during order entry. Could there be a checkbox on the products screen to designate the product as "For Purchasing Only"?

When adding a new customer CMS should display other customers that have a matching address
For example, if the system matches the zip code, last name, and first 4 digits in the address to a record that already exists, a window would pop up and tell you that so you don't add that customer again.

It would be helpful to have a "# of pieces" column on the Ad Code Summary report
On the AdCode Summary report, we want to know how many catalogs were mailed for each Ad Code.

Product Discounts
A product can have a % discount. A product can have a quantity discount. A product with a % discount that also has a quantity discount can get a double discount, and shouldn't. The discount should be the lower of the two, not the combination of the two.

Add default order entry warehouse to workstation specific section
Add default order entry warehouse to workstation specific section so order entry can skip that field. Also gets around having to rename a warehouse it its priority changes.

Allow me to "View SQL" code on "Invoice Filters" just like on "Customer Filters"
I sometimes need to make a small tweak to the SQL code in the "Invoice Filters". However, currently there is no way to "View SQL" code in the "Invoice Filters", only the "Customer Filter". With "Customer Filters" I create a filter, then "View SQL" code to make small changes, and copy and paste into "Write Own SQL". Not knowing the table structure, this makes it very easy to do this. .But the "Invoice Filters" do not offer this option.

It would be nice if you can review what was attached when sending an email.
It would be nice to be able to see what was attached when reviewing an email already sent in a customer's history. Even if it was just the name of the file so we can verify that we sent the correct attachment when a customer calls.

We’ve been considering how to deal with attaching files to customer records (like a pdf of a tax exempt form your customer may have sent you) as well as how to retain attachments on emails so they can later be reviewed. Be able to copy the selected Vendor Sku field to all colors/sizes with a button.
currently i have to copy/paste it to every size/sku manually, its a pain.

Create automated reports and scheduled EDC
we run certain crystal reports every night, would be great if they could be automated (to run with current date inputs) after we run our EDC batch (which could be automated)
1 voteIn a future edition of CMS we do plan on allowing certain operations to be scheduled (processing back orders, future ships, authorizations/edc, releasing email confirmations, etc.) We’ll consider adding the running of specific reports to that list.
In the interim, you might look at the software called Visual CUT which can be used to schedule running Crystal reports including delivery of those reports to the intended recipients. http://www.milletsoftware.com/Visual_CUT.htm

Allow proformas to de-allocate stock if it was allocated by mistake.

Fix Postal Presort
If you want to use Satori Mailroom Toolkit, you can't because Postal presort broke a few versions ago and still hasn't been fixed.
3 votesWe stopped maintaining integration with Satori years ago because we were not aware of anyone using it – most that were in the past are not using it due to annual cost, or are using external third parties for mailings. If there is demand, we’ll consider looking at updating integration.

Use the Company from the BILL TO address, NOT the company from the SHIP TO when you post checks. The BILL TO company is always the one that pays the bills. In our system, it is usually different as we primarily ship to schools and are paid by the school district. Thanks.
